Origin
Ted, a homeless man who lives in an Vancouver alley who lost everything to a mafia type gang. He likes to help others, not himself. His best friend is a 12 year old kid named James who lives across the street from the alley. When ever Ted finds money, he gives it to James. Sometimes James well give Ted some pudding or cookies. The only thing Ted owns is a old jacket, a t-shirt, jeans, a pillow and a small blanket. Ted hates criminals. He thinks they are pathetic cowards. Thanks to Ted, the alley is clean and safe. If drugies come into the alley to buy, sell and consume, he tells them to go away. Ted has had nothing for over 5 years…Until now. One night Ted heard lots of loud noises and explosions, so he woke up. The sound was coming from around the corner so he looked around the corner and saw cars flying everywhere, people with lights shooting out of their hands, people with black armor and black swords and very shiny people holding big staffs with light bulb looking things on the top. The shiny people were fighting the dark, black people. Ted was shocked. He had no clue what was going on. What he didn’t realize is that there was a 1000 year old war going on in the middle of the street. A war that no one has ever won. A war between the magical soldiers of light, and the evil and dark army of the darkness. Ted decided to walk up to this war, not knowing it would change his life. He wanted them to stop, someone would get hurt, but they didn’t care. Then as soon as Ted was right in the middle of this war, he turned around, and there was this big shadowy dark(about the size of a minivan) coming straight for him. He thought he was going to die, he was wrong. It him, and when it did, he woke up where he was sleeping in the alley ,beside the green dumpster. Ted thought it was a dream he had that night. After he woke, he did all his daily stuff. Cleaning the alley, talking to James and trying to make the alley safe. But when he did, giant shadows followed him, it was always darker where he was, and in the dark, he was stronger than usual. He had know idea why. At 10:26pm, he went to bed, and that night he had a dream. And in that dream, he could control darkness, use the shadows as weapons and he wore a certain armor or costume. He also felt like there was a voice, a voice telling him he had power. Ted woke up, knowing he could control something, and that thing is darkness. That war he saw, he knew it wasn’t gonna hurt anybody, it was only gonna give power, to a man who wanted to help.

His Origin is almost Here!
Great news people, I just need to do some finishing touches,edit and the origin of Dark Shadow will be here soon!

Powers Of Dark Shadow: Can see in the dark. Can control and shape shift shadows into daggers, swords, shields, projectile energy balls and more. Can create shadows. Can give people his powers for a limited amount of time(but it drains his power and makes him tired and dizzy). Can temporary blind people by shooting shadows into their eyes. Does not need sleep, food or water because he can turn shadows into energy he can consume. In the dark, he can lift 10 times his own body weight.
Weaknesses: If exposed to 1 hour of light, he well lose his powers until he comes in contact with darkness or shadows . If he is exposed to ultraviolet lights, he well lose his powers for 12 hours. Darkness well not give back his powers for this period of time.
Other: He does not always resort to violence. Sometimes he well use the shadows to scare his opponents. He likes to help other people, not himself.

Small Back story: Ted Clossin is a homeless man, he lost his house, family, friends and money to a mafia type gang. He was a detective and put the main gang members in jail. When they got out, they wanted revenge. Now he lives in a alley in Vancouver. He owns the clothes on his back, a pillow and a small blanket. His best friend is a 12 year old boy named James who lives in the apartment across the street. James goes and talks to him every day after school. Once in a while he gives Ted some pudding and cookies. Every time Ted finds money, he gives it to James, or another homeless person. Ted never bags for money.
Costume: His costume is made of Shadows . He has a black half cowl. Black cape, which is ripped at the edge. Small black gloves, Black scaley,samurai looking torso armor with no sleeves. Long black boots, and black samurai leg armor. The only part of his body that shows is his arms and the bottom half of his head(mouth, chin, cheeks,ect.)
